Australia sweep West Indies in ODI series

Australia edged the West Indies by 17 runs in the 5th ODI at Melbourne to complete a 5-o sweep in the ODI series.

Johnson Charles maiden 100 for the West Indies was not enough as the Windies fell short again.

Australia recovered from Tino Best’s early two-wicket burst to post 274/5 with Adam Voges getting 112 not out.

Charles’ hundred was complimented by Keiron Pollard’s 45, but the West Indies were bowled out in the final over to end on 257.

Final scores: Australia 274/5 (50 ov) vs. West Indies 257 (49.5 ov). Australia won by 17 runs.
